A tribe in Michigan is hoping to get permission to construct a casino as a basis to build a secure future for it's members, though is currently having to battle against groups trying to limit the number of new casinos being built in the state.

I can't blame them for wanting to keep casinos low key, after all, the sheer number littered across areas in the US now is ridiculous.
Then again, I wish the very best for the Tribe - it's important for them to have a business to survive on, and a casino is a fairly safe bet (No pun intended) as you can probably guess by the amount of Tribes opening their own. |

True, as with a lot of arguments there are pro's and con's on both sides. Admittedly I also think that gambling has gotten large enough already, but I don't think people will stop wanting to develop casinos for a long while yet.
There's still a lot of mileage left in this business. |
