This happened a few weeks ago, but I am still steaming. I am sitting at a NL table and there is a guy there literally throwing away money. He would buy in for $200 when it was gone, he would pull out another $200. This went on for over an hour. The guy rarely folded and bet everything. If he had money in the pot, he stayed for the showdown. Occasionally drawing out and winning a hand. Everybody is milking this guy, I sit and wait for the premier hand. Finally I get it. AK suited. I go in for 5. Everyone folds except for moneybags. Flop comes AK2 rainbow. I bet 10 he raises 40. I call. River is a 7. No paired suit yet. I bet 20. He goes all in $150.00 I call. River hits a 7. He has 73 off down below to take the pot. The idiot bet with a 7 high with A and K on board. Goes all in with a pair of 7's after I had already been betting. Just one of those things I guess.

Hehe, that's why I don't like taking on people like that. It's nice knowing any big hand you have a high chance of winning, but it's not nice to know that you actually have NO idea of what he's holding. If he bets every time, if he stays in for the whole hand almost every hand, you know what he is prepared to bet with - but that is anything! There isn't an easy way to read a player like this, and thats what screws more observant players from time to time.

In time, that guy will lose a lot. But, now and again he's going to hit and you were the one unlucky enough to see it.
