Unfortunate, but it looks as though the past hopes of bringing a new develpment to the area is all but a distant memory.
Anyone nearby know of why they haven't built one there? As the report states, the state loses money to a casino just across the water who pays it's taxes elsewhere so it seems stupid not to have taken this idea further. |

That's a shame, I'm not a visitor but it's always nice to see the developments cropping up. They are generally pleasant looking buildings, bring money and tourism to areas so are often a benefit to the area concerned even if not everyone is happy about their arrival.
No idea if there was opposition to the plans hence them being all but forgotten, but maybe it just became uneconomical. |

| I think it was an opportunity that has kind of floated by. They have to be realistic about profits, and if they don't think they can make back what they will spend in the development stages then maybe the plans will never see the light of day after all. |
