| Let's say it's early in a single table SNG NL Hold 'em tournament. You are the BB and dealt 89 off suit. 3 players limp in and you check to get a free look at the flop. It comes 6-7-10 rainbow. Do you bet really big here which will probably get everyone to fold to avoid a disaster on the next 2 cards or do you make a small bet or check (or maybe check raise) to try and build a pot. My biggest fear would be the river matching one on the board and opening up Full House possibilities for those who stay around because it didn't cost them much. |

It's possible that the turn or river might pair the board, but the odds of that happening AND someone holding a pocket pair isn't really that great (I think).
You're the heavy favorite in this hand and I would slowplay it to the end. I would be wary if 2 cards of the same suit come on the turn and river, giving someone a possible flush to beat your straight. |

Favourite, but don't bet out - You don't want to scare people off, and you wan't to see the turn before you assess the probability of full houses or anything like that.
Bet reasonably after the flop, and if the turn doesn't pair anything up, then bet bigger and take whoever you can for everything they've got. To beat you there would be unlikely. |
