It hits another medium it seems - having taken tv by storm, Poker is taking to the air as well eh? Although I'm unable to get that station, I'd be interested to hear a show or two - do they commentate on games as they do on television or do they talk results and so forth?

Great news, poker on radio eh? It's really big on television around the globe now, there are now near as damnit poker dedicated tv stations so it's hardly surprising they are branching out even more.

Yeah, there are a few in the UK, poker is on nightly for a few hours and the shows are reasonably well laid out. They are overheads of online games, with someone commentating tastefully giving odds, suggestions about how hands should be played etc. It's a great learning tool.

Yeah I think I've seen a few shows Blue - I particularly like those where they cover live online tables. It's nice to see some attention payed to playing online, and the tips are invaluable in such situations where physical behaviour tells and so forth aren't available.

The Romsey Hotel won a licence for 30 poker machines but locals fought the decision all the way to the state's highest court, arguing that poker machines would harm the town.

Nestled in the Macedon Ranges 50 minutes north of Melbourne, Romsey is a laid back, quiet town and locals want to keep it that way.
