I have been playing a lot of 6 handed games lately on Party. They are very ripe. A lot of players are coming into these games with less than full buyins meaning that they are not great players who are almost broke. A good combination but there is a potential for a lot of variance.
Is anyone else playing these games regularly? |

| I play mostly 6 handed tables too. But there are very big swings at these tables. You get a ton of aggressive super maniacs there. Be careful, I don't mind 1 maniac at the table, but if there is more than 1, it can turn into a dice toss trading money around the table. |

| Hehe, too true. Then again you can get very stale games if you have too many super-tight players, in which case the opposite occurs and stacks vary by a few chips every now and then. |

6 Handed games are much better in my experience. I like the fact the competition is limited to start with, and there will typically be much more scenarios of only 2 or 3 players in it at the flop and far less hands going the distance.
There is potential there, but the key is to play it tight - with so few players, there is more scope for better hands more often, so playing a solid game can pay divedends. |
