| in a nl ring game or tourney how do you play this hand K 10, and when? I've been doing so bad with it lately that i have'nt been playing it at all. I always seen to be up againt a higher kicker. |

| Depends on what limits and the texture of the game. In general, auto-fold to any raise. In a game full of decent-better players, it's only worth a limp in LP. Against crappy players, you can move your limp out to MP, but don't get too attached. |

That's a situation to stay in if you're on the SB, or calls go round the table. I'd fold any raise with that, and definitely be inclined to fold if nothing comes up on the river.
When luck doesn't seem to be on your side, the worst thing you can do is rely on the turn or the flop. Stay in if it's cheap, fold if not. |

I would generally drop it unless free/cheap to continue, such as being on SB/BB with calls round the table.
Also, if there were a fair few callers then I would be inclined to fold, as anyone with a pocket pair or even two suited cards is ahead of you already and it may not be worth investing to see the flop only to fold. |
