What are the rules you use in your home game in regards to rebuys?
We have a weekly NLH game that we've just started and we have everything figured out except for rules on rebuys so I'm looking for suggestions. |

Basically, this depends upon a variety of things.
What the make-up of the players you have. Are you playing with a group of friends or simply acquaintances?
How large the initial buy-in and what blinds you play with.
Also...is this a pure NL game or one that has a capped buy-in?
When I played homegames with friends, we would have an minimum buy-in followed by a single short buy (half the original). We could also addon in between hands.
But...when we played a capped buy-in NL...we STUCK to a minimum but could recap between hands.
If you are talking about a weekly NL Tournament. That's a different beast of which I am less familiar in a home game environment. |

Normally we play single buy-in, followed by one additional half buy-in.
If you manage to lose all those chips then it's generally back to the bar, I'm afraid. |
